Concerns are mounting regarding the physical condition of Aleksandar Pavlovic, a key player for FC Bayern and the German national team. Due to an injury, he is not included in the starting eleven for the upcoming Nations League match against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A health issue for Pavlovic

Pavlovic was seen warming up away from the other players of the DFB, wearing a thick bandage on his left leg. This injury stems from his knee, as explained by coach Julian Nagelsmann after the match, specifying that he is suffering from a knee contusion.

Prospects for the next match

In his statements, Nagelsmann emphasized that Pavlovic’s health status was uncertain ahead of the next clash against the Norwegians, which will take place on Monday. He also mentioned logistical challenges, noting the late arrival of the team in Herzogenaurach after a long journey.

A key element for Bayern

Aleksandar Pavlovic was initially slated to be in the starting lineup for the encounter against Bosnia. Nagelsmann confirmed that Pavlovic would have been a starter, given his good form and impressive season. His absence would be particularly detrimental for Bayern as they prepare to face big teams like VfB Stuttgart and FC Barcelona in the coming days.

Other notable absences for the team

It should also be noted that player Chris Führich will be absent for the match against the Netherlands, having sustained a muscle injury during the match against Bosnia.

Finally, the DFB managed to win their match against Bosnia thanks to two goals from Deniz Undav, finishing on a positive note despite ongoing concerns for Pavlovic.
